Together with ourselves and sister company H&H Land & Estates we welcome farmers, landowners and land managers to an evening of discussion tackling major legal, financial, and planning issues confronting farming today.
Farmers, landowners, and land managers from across Yorkshire and the North East who are looking to maximise the value of their land and property, are warmly invited to Northallerton for an evening of expert advice and detailed discussion on securing the future of their rural business.
Presented jointly by agricultural business advisors H&H Land & Estates and H&H Insurance Brokers, industry-leading professionals will share valuable insights on diversification, legal considerations, finance, and insurance. With discussion and debate encouraged, this evening is designed to help farmers create a sustainable, safe and profitable future for the farm and future generations, and of course it will be made even more important and relevant by any potential issues raised by the Budget.
Free to attend, Corinne Cooper, an Account Executive for H&H Insurance Brokers Northallerton office will host this Future Proofing Your Farming Business event, taking place on Thursday 14th November 2024, starting at 6:30pm, with a pie and pea supper at Romanby Golf & Country Club in Northallerton.
The agenda will include short presentations followed by Q&A sessions with experts in their fields:

- Caroline Hawcroft of Knights Solicitors will cover the legal issues in diversification projects and succession planning.

- Max Perris of Crawford Agriculture will talk about how diversification and new farming trends are impacting agricultural insurance.
Robert Jauneika, who heads up the North Yorkshire team for co-hosts H&H Land & Estates will outline how to identify development and diversification opportunities to secure your farm’s future.
“This is a very challenging time for the farming community across the UK, and the Budget might raise more issues, but the changes in the focus of Government support are also creating opportunities for progressive farmers and landowners to maximise their funding and diversify their revenue streams.
“We want to clarify these opportunities for our guests, and our panel of experts will be offering advice and guidance on some of the most important legal issues facing farmers and landowners as they navigate their way forward through the current fast-changing agricultural landscape.”
