Abbie joined us just over a month ago as a Trainee Claims Handler, and she’s already getting stuck into the wide variety of work that comes with claims handling. Coming from outside the insurance industry, Abbie has enjoyed learning about the different roles and responsibilities across the business and gaining a real insight into how everything fits together.
One thing that’s really stood out to Abbie so far is just how varied the role is – no two claims are ever the same, which keeps every day interesting and challenging.
As her apprenticeship continues, Abbie is looking forward to building her knowledge of insurance and claims handling, as well as working towards her CII qualifications.
Fun fact: Outside of work, Abbie is on a mission to complete the Wainwrights and has already conquered 64 out of 214 fells! She also enjoys helping out on her family farm.
