We appreciate for many businesses, it can be a challenge to meet the required health and safety standards to keep your employees safe and comply with relevant legislation, so working with AW Safety, a leading expert in the field of risk management and health and safety at work, we have developed H&H Safety.

You may not know but if you have 5 or more employees, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) states that you must have a written Health & Safety Policy and have access to competent advice; together, our aim is to assist you with this process and to make it as straightforward as possible. We won’t leave you to wade through complex forms and manuals, instead we’ll work with you to develop a management system to meet your specific requirements (and to ensure the HSE has no cause for complaint when they visit your farm or premises). Having designated risk assessments in place also assists with the your insurance policy as makes the risk easier to insure for the insurance company.

We provide a range of services, which can support your business based on your needs, including access to IRM Connect which is an easy to use, live 24/7 online portal with documentation specifically tailored to your business and designed to reduce your administration. Once in place our team will be on hand to guide you through it step by step, and in a fast-moving world we’re always available and ready to react to any eventuality.

The Elite Level of support comprises of an annual visit to your business and includes the following:

Initial audit and inspection of business
Detailed Audit Report including compliance scoring and photographs of observations where applicable
Supply and maintenance of health and safety management system relevant to business activities including policy, organisation, safety arrangements, risk assessments and related documents
Access to health and safety documents via dedicated web server IRM Connect including email alerts for updates
Supply of Safety Notice Board signage
Supply of an Annual Health & Safety Action Planner
Development of further documents required during the contract period
Telephone support for all health and safety matters throughout the contract period
Act as ‘Competent’ person in relation to health and safety

The service begins with an initial telephone survey of the business carried out by one of our consultants, which allows us to prepare and set up the correct documents to support your business.

Annual Audit & Inspection Support

Our Premier Level service provides a basic health and safety management system to include the following elements:

Supply and maintenance of health and safety management system relevant to business activities including policy, organisation, safety arrangements, risk assessments and related documents
Access to health and safety documents via dedicated web server IRM Connect including email alerts for updates
Supply of Safety Notice Board signage
Development of further documents required during the contract period

Health & Safety Training

Working with AW Safety, bespoke training programmes can be designed to cater for your requirements. Whether it’s a full-day training session or a brief toolbox talk on a selected subject, they’ll be as flexible as you need them to be.

AW Safety can deliver IOSH Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Leading Safely, Working Safely and Managing Safely programmes and also offer an online training option that gives access to a wide range of courses such as Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Display Screen Equipment, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height, which can be completed flexibly in your workplace.
