You may have noticed that we attend quite a few agricultural shows throughout the year – from local county shows and village shows to some of the larger events across the North of England and Scottish Borders.
For us, these shows are about much more than putting up a stand and talking about insurance.
They’re about being part of the communities we work in and supporting the people we’re here to protect.
Agriculture can sometimes be an isolated way of life. The pressures of farming, changing markets, weather, regulation and the demands of running a business can be significant. That’s why opportunities to get together, catch up with friends, meet fellow farmers and simply have a chat over a cup of tea can be so important.
Community matters. And so does conversation.
Agricultural shows provide a chance for people to step away from the farm for a while, meet others, share experiences, celebrate what they do and, importantly, look out for one another. They can play a valuable role in supporting wellbeing and reducing the isolation that can sometimes come with rural life.
For H&H Insurance Brokers, they also give us the opportunity to meet our clients face-to-face, catch up with familiar faces and get to know new people within the farming community.
We believe good insurance starts with good relationships. Understanding our clients, their businesses and the things that matter to them means we can provide advice and cover that genuinely fits their needs.
So, when you see the H&H team at your local agricultural show, please come and say hello!
You don’t have to come and talk about insurance. Come for a chat, a coffee, a catch-up – or simply to put a face to a name.
Because for us, being there matters.
Supporting our rural communities. Building relationships. Looking out for each other.
