In addition to the range of insurances available to smallholders for pedigree cattle, alpacas and llamas, here at Armitage in-Livestock we also arrange insurance for other farm animals including sheep and pigs.
Insurance policies we offer include:
The insurance can be in situ or in transit, including importation and exportation, and can cover death from accidents, sickness or disease. Alternatively, the insurance can be restricted to death from accidents only, or even restricted to death from specified perils.
If you are considering a specific farm animal insurance, please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements further so we can find the right policy for you.
Frozen Bovine Semen and Embryos Insurance
In addition, Armitage in-Livestock is also able to provide insurance for frozen bovine semen and embryos. This insurance will provide cover against loss of frozen bovine semen or embryos as a direct result of the escape of liquid nitrogen from the container or flask in which the semen is kept or stored. It will also provide cover for the flask/tank against physical loss or damage which results in the flask becoming permanently unusable.
Please contact us to discuss your ‘other’ insurance requirements via email or telephone 01932 856486 to speak to a member of our friendly and specialist team.
