For many, reporting an insurance claim or gaining access to their own insurance documents can sometimes be challenging and often it is not possible to be complete the claim immediately. So, Carlisle based H&H Insurance Brokers, who are always keen to be at the forefront of the industry, identified this and knew that they the way in which it communicated with their clients, needed to evolve.
With the increased use of smart phones micro – managing people’s lives, they were also aware that in most cases when someone is involved in an insurance accident or needs to make a claim, a mobile phone is to hand. As such they have developed, and have this week launched, a bespoke app tailored specifically, to the needs of their customers.
Giving further background, Paul Graham, Managing Director of H&H Insurance Brokers, said: “The claims process can be stressful and although we have a dedicated claims manager, we are constantly looking at how we can improve the service we provide to clients and ways in which we can make their lives easier. We explored the opportunities as to what else we could offer, which would assist them and were there any other ways which clients could keep in touch with us.
As we all know, that if you are a service provider, trading in today’s world, offering an e-commerce service is almost a prerequisite. So, the development of this App is the outcome and we are sure it will become an invaluable resource.”
Easy to download on both iPhone and Android, this new service provides clients with the facility to report claims, access, and store copies of their important insurance documents, request a new quotation and contact their account manager. All these services are available direct from their mobile phone, 24/7.
Nina Oxley, Marketing Manager added: “It really couldn’t be a simpler claims process – clients can take photographs of the incident, access the claim form on their mobile device, complete the details and forward this to us with the images. This App takes the angst out of the situation, so claims may be settled even more quickly and easily than before.
During the last few weeks, the App has been trialled by several customers and we have received great feedback, especially relating to its ease of use. Of course, going forward, it will evolve and working with our clients we will gather their suggestions and develop additional features within the App.”
