H&H Safety Farm Zone Event

Back to news

Farmers visiting Borderway UK Dairy Expo ’20 will have the opportunity to assess and improve their own on-farm safety through a timetable of talks and demonstrations held in the H&H Safety Farm Zone on Saturday 14th March .

H&H Safety is a Health & Safety support service for farm and rural businesses provided through the partnership of H&H Insurance Brokers (HHIB) and IRM Safety.

This inaugural farm safety event at the Expo will address several key themes relating to improving farm safety and covering: Animal Handling, Equipment Security, Risk Management Tools, Accident Prevention, First Aid for Farmers and Farm Support.

As proud sponsors, H&H Safety have assembled this programme to provide rural visitors to the show with knowledge, advice and helpful support relating to the challenges of working safely within a farm environment.  By raising awareness around some key issues, H&H Safety hope to provide a positive health and safety message whilst giving visitors the information to go to, whether knowledge or organisation contacts, for advice they can trust.

HHIB is an independent insurance broker who in addition to providing competitive farm insurance recognised the importance of providing their clients with access to a solution to support them with their health and safety compliance.   IRM Safety is a specialist consultancy providing bespoke health & safety advice for farms, agri-businesses and estates across the UK.
