As part of the H&H Group and one of the north’s leading independent insurance brokers, we are looking to appoint both Account Handlers and Account Executives to support our ambitious development plans across the North of England.

Account Handler
The role will cover:

  • providing the first line of contact to existing and new clients – dealing with queries, giving advice and support as required
  • supporting the Account Executives with accurate communication and administration
  • administrative duties including processing of proposals and documentation and the following up of outstanding documentation

The successful candidates will be computer literate, have good organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Experience in general insurance is essential with this preferably being in the commercial or agricultural sectors, and ideally within a brokerage.

The opportunity will be given to the successful candidates to acquire relevant insurance qualifications and salary will be negotiable dependent on experience.

Account Executive
Our Account Executives play a key role in building relationships and the main duties include:

  • to act as the main point of contact between the company and existing and potential customers;
  • to develop a clear understanding of customers’ requirements;
  • to provide professional advice and support to our customers as required either face-to-face or by telephone;
  • to work within the FCA rules;
  • to improve the public perception of the company by face-to-face negotiations with customers and attendance on behalf of the Group at required events.
